Latomia is a tranquil, spiritual setting with unobstructed breathtaking views of the Laconian gulf, the island of Elafonisos and the Mani Peninsula. The northern  rock-faced boundary has four caverns complete with fossils formed during the ice age The property is located in the Laconia region of Peloponnesus, Greece approximately five and a half  hours from Athens by car. Kalamata Airport (three hours) and Athens International airport (five hours) are the two main airports. It is also possible to fly to Kythira and then catch ferry to Neapoli.

Just outside of the picturesque village of Viglafia, the property looks over the  Laconic gulf and has breathtaking views of the island of Elafonisos  

 The city of Neapoli with its many  restaurants and stores is just a fifteen minute drive away. It is strongly recommended that you arrange  some form of transportation as public transport is limited in the area. Rental cars are available in Athens  and in Monemvasia. Bus transport from various parts of Greece goes to Neapoli. 

The Byzantine stronghold of Monemvasia is just a thirty minute drive from the property. Hidden from below, a whole city waits to be explored and marveled at. Breathtaking views, and historical importance mix with a very cosmopolitan setting filled with shops, artist's galleries and restaurants.
